Peter DeLong Vaughn

I was raised in a Christian home, and that influence has guided my whole life. I strayed sometimes, but God always brought me back to Himself. The Nicene Creed's great, and it sums up my basic beliefs well.

I've been involved in art ever since 1997, my junior year of highschool. It became my major in college in 2005. (that's right -- nigh on to a decade. Don't be like me.) I started trying to figure out my relationship with God and the Bible using art the same year, though more succesfully the next. What I paint and how I live out what I believe have been integrated ever since.

My wife and I started a Master's in Theology a year after I graduated in 2008. I worked full-time as a professional artist for a while, and now we are teaching at ABC University in Yekepa, Liberia as I continue my artistic practice.

I took this chicken logo that I use for my home button off of a box that the grocery store in Monrovia (the capitol of Liberia) packed some of our groceries in.
